Silverwood Training Center, located in beautiful Southern California, offers full-service training for a wide range of disciplines. Nationally active in the Hackney, Arabian, and Open Dressage circuits, the horses and students of Silverwood Training Center have won over 50 National titles and over 150 Regional titles. From Dressage to Native Costume, from English Pleasure to Sport Horses, from Show Hack to Saddleseat and Huntseat Equitation, we produce some of the most competitive horse and rider teams in the show ring today. And each and every discipline takes its strength and foundation from basic dressage fundamentals so the horses are able to stay healthy and fit through the rigors of a hectic show and training schedule, and our riders are functional, beautiful riders who are capable in a wide variety of situations.

SWTC junior riders have been highly successful as well. Pictured at right is Catching Fire+ and Jessica Davidenas, the 2002 US Youth National Champions at Third Level JTR 17 & under. This makes Jessie the second US Youth National Champion SWTC has produced, as well as 14 US Youth National Top Ten winners.  Since the junior riders are the future of our breed, SWTC recognizes what an importance they are to the show ring. SWTC strives to train their young riders with respect and love, while still stretching them to be the best they can be. They're success speaks for itself!

SWTC trainer, Debbie Britt-Hay, has also been the proud civilian trainer of the U.S. Border Patrol Mounted Unit. These fine agents are dedicated to keeping our borders safe, and we're proud to be affiliated with this great organization. We'll keep you posted of any new accomplishments on our "News" page.
