PLEASE PRAY FOR TAYLOR

We are requesting that all visitors to our site pray for our daughter, Taylor, who was diagnosed with Stage 3 Non-Hodgkin Lymphoblastic Lymphoma on 3/24/08. After 3 1/2 months of intermittent symptoms and incorrect diagnoses, we received the news that no parents ever want to hear. We are in the process of setting up a foundation in her name that will assist other children and families in her position. In the mean, you can visit the new site at www.believeintaylor.org. 

The site has a journal so that you can read about her fight with cancer, as well as pictures, a guestbook for you to sign that will be read by Taylor herself, and information about this horrible disease. We are told that less than 1 in 100,000 children are diagnosed with cancer of any type, but Taylor apparently drew the short straw. Her chances were 1 in 600,000 for her particular type of cancer. As you can see, Taylor had beautiful long curly hair which she chose to have cut and donated to another child to aid in their struggle per her own wishes. She has since lost her hair twice, though it is starting to grow in now and is curlier than it's ever been. She will be on active chemotherapy treatments until at least April, 2010, and then will be monitored closely after that with scans and tests to ensure the cancer does not return. It is a very long haul for our baby, and we appreciate the prayers and kind words of support. She is beginning to return to the one activity that she truly loves: showing her beloved horses. It is the one thing that has kept her going through this very difficult fight. 

                                                                                              

All funds received will go directly to Taylor's medical and related expenses.  Please pray for our little angel. She needs all the prayers and good wishes that are sent to her to fight her way back to health. God bless.
